Only our great God can fulfill the needs we have, and He is who He says He is. Reflect with me this morning on your own life and how God has shown himself as Jehova-Jireh. His provisions are both the big and the small and today we give thanks for a Lord that provides in every situation, exactly when we need it.
One of my fondest moments that God used in my life to show himself to me as Jehova-Jireh, was through the cancellation of Cornerstones banquet 2 years ago.The morning of our biggest fundraiser we learned that our event was canceled due to a power outage. We gathered as a staff and asked the Lord to show us the way and provide for us a new location. Within 30 minutes of that prayer we had a new location with food for 150 people, and within a couple of hours we had notified all guests of the changes. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. In my flesh I did not believe that any of this would be possible, but He taught me with God anything can become possible. He provided. He made a way. We just needed to ask, and then step aside and be obedient to what He says.
